In 2016, ATLAS Group and HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH established ATLAS Optronics JV. Officially launched at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) in February 2019, the Joint Venture also unveiled the Optronics Centre of Excellence, dedicated to Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services. This strategic collaboration enables HENSOLDT, a leading German sensor manufacturer, to meet its offset obligations to the UAE under the Tawazun Economic Council. The JV brings advanced capabilities across radars, electro-optics, and integrated sensor platforms, delivering end-to-end support for mission-critical defence applications.
